The Parks Division is responsible for managing and offering recreation opportunities, programs, and services for a diverse population. Throughout the year, innovative educational, fitness, social, athletic, and recreational programs are coordinated for youth and adults. The division also maintains clean, safe and attractive parks and facilities including four active parks, two community centers 
a multi-purpose center, swimming pool, and two additional passive parks in the city.

The Parks Division is also responsible for operating and programming the city’s Educational and Cultural Center located on the second floor of the new Lauderdale Lakes Branch Library.
