Why Exercise?
Exercise is important in the art of healthy living for all ages. Exercise improves the quality of life at home, work, and play. The Parks and Human Services Department offers fitness centers that provides a full circuit of Cybex exercise equipment at Willie Webb Sr. Park. The facility offers cardiovascular equipment such as treadmills, bicycles, and elliptical machines; strength equipment that cater to the biceps, triceps, chest, shoulder and back. Abdominal machines and free weights are also available.
The fitness centers are open to individuals ages 18 and older. Annual membership fees are as follows, Senior Citizens (55 & up) $50, Students (with proper ID) $50, Residents $100, and Non Residents $125 For more information, please call (954) 535-2835 or (954) 535-2785.
